The Genius Knight of the Fallen People

Shan belongs to the Alto, a race the world calls the “Devil’s People,” and the villagers have treated him as a slave for as long as he can remember. Then a band of mysterious mercenaries raids his village, and Shan kills them all, awakening a talent he never knew he had. He later meets a man named Roden, who tells him something he never thought possible: an Alto can become a knight. For the first time in his life, Shan has escaped his chains and tasted freedom, and now he sets his sights on something even greater: a future as a knight.
